Advice on working as IFA in Dubai
Dear all,
Received an opportunity to work for a pretty high-brow finance company in Dubai after some training at their Zurich HQ.
I'm an ex-mortgage broker that left the industry before new FSA regs meant you had to have at least CeMap etc.
The role involves getting leads from your own sales team and seeing ex-pats who require investment / pension / savings advice ec.
Does anyone do this role for a living or maybe know someone that does.
It would mean leaving the wife and kids for long periods, so it would be quite a leap - and I'd really appreciate some friendly advice on this matter.

If I was in FS's, I certainly wouldn't want more competition in an already tough market, particularly as you didn't/couldn't make the grade as a mortgage broker in peak times in the UK.
Was that friendly enough?

Man, nothing long with Bimbos as long as they know their place in life.
And given some of the women on this forum, I'd never assume to tell them where that is... but then, I'm a wimp.
In one piece, but still a wimp!
