You can now submit change of address on-line
I just saw a notice on the front page of the USCIS Website. You can now
file a change of address online. See here:
https://egov.immigration.gov/crisgwi/go?action=coa.
Previously, all permanent residents had to submit Form AR-11 to notify USCIS
of a change in address. In addition, if you had a case pending, you needed
to notify the office handling your case. It looks like this new online form
will take care of both things at once.
Also, US citizens who have previously submitted a Form I-864 on behalf of
someone who has become a permanent resident had to submit a Form I-865 to
notify USCIS of a change of address. You can use the online procedure for
this as well.
We'll see how well it works.
