We are in receipt of your completed forms. We have received the clearance
from your mandatory FBI check today and will be notifying you by mail
shortly of the appointment date.

I really don't think it is going to be that long now

I just got this email from the Embassy in London:

This is just to inform you that you have been scheduled for an interview on
September 20,2002. The information packet and appointment letter have been
mailed to you.

I am sooooooo happy

Congrats Joan...Clive said the day went well, it was just a bit long for him. They
will probably ask you how you and your fiancé celebrated your or his birthday this
year. Clive got that one wrong but the interviewer didn't know it was wrong. He said
that I was in the United States and he in England, but that was last year..oh well it
worked. They also asked him my parents full name, my brothers and sisters name. How
we met. When we met. How often we've seen each other. When we got engaged. When we
plan to marry...and that's all I can think of right now. He never did leave the
Embassy for lunch though, he said they were so slow with him and just told him to
have a seat. People were already coming back from lunch before they were done with
him. They also gave him our original 2nd NOA back because we had sent it in for them
to set up his interview date instead of them waiting for the NVC because it could
have taken a while. Well, if you have any questions just let me know and I will help
if I can. Oh..and by the way, your interview is on Clive and I's wedding day!!! Again
Congrats!!!
