Having spent fruitless hgours researching this, I would strongly advise all K1 applicants to get any necessary vaccinations carried out in their home countries.
Only one medical practice in my area is authorised to carry them out for the INS and they have a "policy" of insisting that a full medical exam precedes vaccinations. No further explanation of the "policy" was forthcoming. Sounds like a ramp to me, dont get caught by this potential extra expense.

I have just had my mmr, dip and I don't need a tetanus from my local jp for free, my girls also had the first Hb and are all up to date with the rest.
Now my questions is I am looking at our vaccination records, will they be no good for our AOS ?

Kitty,
When you go to the Doctor in London for your medical, they will go through the vaccination records you bring with you from your NHS GP. Then if you need more jags they will offer to issue them there, which is slightly mor eexpensive than at your GP, but worth it in my opinion. They will then make a list for you to take to the US with you when your Visa is issued, and this is what you submit with your AOS application, from what I can gather.
Hope that helps you.
Peace,
D.

Very good advice. In my interview scheduling letter it was
said that I needed a Varicella vaccination (chicken pox?). I
called the whole list of around 12 INS affiliated practices
in my area, only two seem to exist. One of them did not have
the vaccine, the other could not do it before November (the
interview was in Juky) and if I remember correctly the costs
were around $100, for one vaccination...............That
doctor told me it was BS and I should tell INS that I
already had the disease so I am immune, which is true. That
is what I did, the officer did not care at all........
The letter also said I needed a full medical exam. Entering
the US on a K-1 without a full medical exam report is not
possible. Later on it appeared they lost my records. The
doctor told me that would cost me around $600!!! I did not
do it. Maybe that is the reason I still don't have my
Greencard, though the interview went fine.
