Hello,
Last year I withdrew sponsorship to my now ex-husband, long story met
him on the net turned out to be big mistake and large lesson learned.
As soon as I told him it was over I wrote to the office where we had
filed. I received a letter from that immigration office where it said
that they had received my letter and that no further action was
necessary by me. He also received a letter from them and I forwarded it
onto him in the Uk (without opening).
I was wondering if anyone knows what immigration typically would send
them. I do not talk to my ex so asking him is not an option. A friend
of his made mention something to the effect that he is banned from the
states.
Just curious.
Thank you!

just because you withdrew his sponsorship doesn’t mean he'll be banned from the Usa, That is a very arrogant assumption

Why do you care?
It probably told him that he had to leave, but by the sound of it he already has.

Your interpretation is incorrect. I made no assumptions.

For the safety of my daughter and myself is why I care.

That would be a Police matter, a restraining order, but he is 3,000 to 5,000 miles away anyway.
If he has been convicted of a felony, then he would be most unlikely to be able to visit the US.

Thanks Boiler I had contemplated doing that but thought as you, 5000
miles away, we're ok. He did pop back here unannounced. Fortunately I
was able to login to the airline site and see the flight adjustment 24
hours prior to his arrival. I changed the door lock and got us to a
friends while he broke in. The divorce wasn't final yet still legally
married. I've moved now and feel somewhat better.
