No, we won't be together. It's OK though, I have a wonderful family that I will be with. However, I do hope this is our last one apart EVER!

This will be our first Christmas together as a married couple. We've been so excited about all our first holidays together...Halloween, Thanksgiving (2, one for each country) and now Christmas. We went berserk decorating the tree (yesterday we finally found an angel to top it).

Actually last year, I visited Cory in Canada for 10 days at the end of November. Since we wouldn't be together in December, we had an early Christmas even though it was the end of November. We put up our first tree with decorations and put gifts under the tree for each other and also for Cory's family. It was a lot of fun!!

I dont get to be with my future wife, but I am still very grateful for having met her, and I think about the days ahead when she will be here.
Not for Christmas...but will be in Holland for New Years...counting the days till I fly off. What has helped us keep our spirits up is knowing this will be the last Christmas or any holidays apart. And, we are so very thankful to have found each other...we are truly blessed.

I wont be with my fiance for Christmas but he will be here for a week over New Year. Hopefully the last holiday we will be apart. BCIS website says our visa has been approved (I-129F - NOA) at last. Waited 5 months for it. Now the long hog of waiting for the forms to come to me now and then the dreaded interview.

Good Luck to all that are applying for their visas.

:-)
