Who has the file after AOS? Nebraska?

This is a question that's been nagging at me for awhile. After a succesful AOS
interview, does the paperwork get sent to the Service Centre responsible for
your area (in my case, Nebraska) or does it remain at the local one? (e.g.
Chicago)
The reason I ask is because my permanent resident card came from Nebraska
(that's a whole other thread on here!). I just assumed the paperwork must've
gone there from Chicago, unless they just order the card from Nebraska.
My main concern is if we move to Michigan, the file should follow. If it's at
Nebraska, then there should be no problem at all aside from having to submit
the change of address forms (I-865 and AR-11?). If it's at Chicago, then
they'll have to transfer it to Detroit and we'll have to query them every step
of the way to make sure it gets there safely.
Cheers,
