Hi there,
I thought B-2s filing for AOS had to submit the I-130 but now I'm not sure anymore
(ok totally confused fits better) so I thought I'd ask you guys who files the I-129
and I-130. Do I need them at all (on B-2)?
Thanks, Zara

a tourist filing for AOS files an I-130 AND an I-485. an I-129 is only for a
fiance/spouse who is outside the US. if you are here on a B2, you are inside the US,
and therefore need to file the I-485 (adjustment of status) with the I-130 (immigrant
petition for immediate family member)

You don't need the 129. You do need the 130. If entering on a K-1 and married within
90 days, you wouldn't need the
130.
