This isn't the fault of the consulate, so there is no reason to write to
them to complain. It is a direct or passed legislation.

collecting addresses and phone numbers. I'm sure I speak for the majority
when I commend you for your posting, it will be helpfull to many. Don't let
Mr Travel's comments ruffle your feathers, for some reason he/she/it feels
the need to not only point out the obvious, but take it a step further in
attempt to always sound like the authority on the subject.

I simply don't think emailing people for something they have no control
over isn't going to get you anywhere and it prevents them from spending
the time on issues that are important. Flooding the email box of
consulmo doesn't help get the law change, and consulmo is only following
the law. Flooding the email box of consulmo does restrict the amount of
time they can devote to answer questions on things they have control
over. Congress made the law, Bush signed it. So, IMHO, these are the
people that should be contacted. It should be noted, howver, that the
legistlation was the result of constituents demanding tighter
immigration controls. Constituents demanding relaxing immigration policy
are in the minority. No matter what your congressman tells you, they
generally try to move with the majority.
