Where would I and a Greek friend of mine begin if she wants to come visit me here in
America. She's Greek. Is it difficult for her to obtain a Visa from Greece? Anyone
know how long it would take. As you can see, I am a newbie at this so any help would
be appreciated.

As far as I know (please verify this!) Greece is on the list of visa waiver
countries. This means that she would be able to come to the US without
obtaining a visa.
If I'm wrong about that, it may still not be all that difficult, depending on
individual circumstances.

Greece is NOT a VW country.
If your friend will be visiting as a tourist, all they have to do is go to the US
consulate in Athens or Thessaloniki and get a B-1/B-2 visa. Call them for details.
Also, any travel agent in Greece can tell you what you need.
