Default where should I go / call to fix mistake in my address ? dallas,tx

Hello
I finally got my first letter from INS, a fingerprints appoitment
letter.
Unfortunately they got my address wrong, it's a miracle they even
delivered it. My street address is 1800 instead of 18600.
I'd like to know where should I go or call to make sure they fix it ?
I filed in Dallas, TX
thanks

You could write a letter but going in person is usually better. Having said
that with my local office (Arlington) I went in after my fingerprint
appointment was forwarded from my old address (I had sent them a change of
address) and they still managed to send the interview letter out to my old
address (which I didn't get forwarded); eventually they sent one to the
correct address but the GC turned up later sent to my old one. Buch of
idiots.

One last thing - you might not want to bother at all. The fingerprinting
notices are sent by a completely different group. Mine was even hand-written
and had an incorrect appartment (this is in addition to being the wrong
address anyway!) even though the other notices sent to that old address had
the correct apartment.

Andy.

They have a form that you fill in. But, the offices are full of idiots. I
changed adress in Chicago. So I went to the office, and got a form. Sent it
in, and after about 3 weeks I got a letter where they confirmed that my new
adress was the same as the old one. They didn't even manage to send the
letter to the new adress. The postal office forwarded it. I sent another
copy of the letter, and waited another few weeks. This time they actually
managed to get it right. So, to make a long story short, get the form, fill
it out and hope for the best. There is also a form you have to send to
Washington DC.

Hm I hope it's like that. Address on my letter was also handwritten
and it even came in open envelope ! They didn't bother to seal it even
though it says that failure to show will lead to closing of my
application. Unbelievable
