Default Where is the I-130 processed?

After an I-130 and an I-485 are sent to the Lockbox address in Chicago, where is the I-130 procerssed at? the local office? the service center having jurisdiction over area of residence? or the National Benefits Center?

There are no processing times listed for I-130 on either the NBC or the Local office lists. Its listed on the list for the 4 regional service centers CA, Vermont, Texas and Nebraska. But, when i spoke with customer service, they mentioned that the I-130 processing times on those lists are only for beneficiaries whom are outside the US, not those already here.

Any help appreciated

Hi:

The I-130 is processed WITH the I-485. Although filed via the lockbox, the I-130/485 are adjudicated in the Districts.

Hi there

I agree with my fellow professionals herein.

The district office will adjudicate.

Prepare well and be patient and with God's blessing all will be well.
Few are refused and the genuine need not fear. Follow all rules and you
day will come.

Good luck

Julia
