Where to file?
I live in Enfield, CT.
I am filing the I-485 and I-130 together. Do I file this in Hartford or Boston?
Do I walk in or mail?
I am the US Citizen does my wife need to go too if we have to go in?

You would file in the INS regional office closest to you. This would probably
be boston.

You mail. The INS does not accept walk in applications.

Your wife will have to go with you whenever the INS tells you to come in. They will
tell you when to come to get your wife's EAD and when to come for fingerprints and to
the interview. You will have to accompany her each time.

In initial filing if you're filing in person I think it would be better if you both
went. For EAD's you don't have to go. For the interview, definitely both must go.
