Where to call for status on 1-29F
Hi, does anyone know what number I can call to here automated information on my
I-129f application. I call the number on the bottom of my 1st NOA which is
800-375-5283, but they tell me I can't get any info till after the days it says it
takes to process which is 60 to 180 days. I sent the application to chicago and my
receipt# starts with MSC. I just want to here something automated saying it is being
processed.
Thanks Nelva

Is this for a K-3 or a K-1? According to
http://www.ins.gov/graphics/formsfee/forms/i-129f.htm , you file at the service
center normally. You file at Chicago to bring a spouse or child to the US under
the LIFE Act.

Re: Where to call for status on 1-29F
Yup. The number is for the Missouri Service Center and is 816-251-1824 for
information on status of your 129-F for K-3.
You get asked for your 13 digit # (that's the one that begins MSC ...). Key
MSC as 672!!
Be warned that in my experience it's not been very accurate. It's still telling me
15-21 days processing since February (and I have the paperwork from the London
Embassy already!).
