Now you just have to sit and wait... could be for a long time... no follow ups,
nothing else, just wait. You could get a Request For Evidence (RFE) asking for some
minor stuff. That's a good sign - at least you'll know that your files is on
somebody's desk.

But the major next step - a stamp in your passport that is equivalent to a green card
until you get the actual plastic card in the mail. That could also take a long time
after the I-485 approval. Sounds bad, but look at the bright side - you are mostly
done with the paperwork.

I will live the virtue of patience!

What about the timming of Advance Parole / EAD?

Also is there way to speed up the process? Premium processing?

Thanks

There is no premium processing for EAD and AP. The processing time depends on where you filed them.

Folks:

Two questions:

a. what the common RFE's ?

b. any experience for I485 through VSC?

The timing I should expect is ~ 1 year.

Thanks,

Ethan
