What a shame!Will it be over any soon?
GGGGGRRRRRRRRR, coming here to vent.
I had my K-3 interview last thursday, the counsil said my visa is approved and took my passport to issue visa.
Now, in american embassy here, they take passport,issue visa and send it with postal delivery service in few days.My visa and passport didnt arrive yet so i decided to make a call to embassy and ask why such a delay.
Silly woman picked up the phone and murmured something like mmmmmmmm?
Didnt say anythin like "immigration visa unit" but mmmmmmmmmm?
I said hello? she says again mmmmmmm?
Ok i had my interview on thursday and passport with visa didnt arrive yet.Can i know the reason why it takes so long?She whispered something to ppl around and said:"Call on Monday, we still didnt not get the answer".
Here, i was VERY surprised and asked:"What kind of answer?Regarding what?".
Guess what she replied?
SHE SAID" I DONT KNOW".
Isnt pissing off?
Whats going on there?People do not know what they work on?
What answer?
MY VISA WAS APPROVED, they just needed to issue it inside my passport and send to me via express delivery service for which I have to pay so what answer exactly?
I hoped that my headache those people caused me is over but no.

The operator you were dealing with was probably an "FSN" employee -- i.e. NOT-American. The person also very well might have been new on the job.
The express delivery service is also not American.
Also, its August.
Your PP and visa will be along shortly -- in good Israeli time.

I just called to FIND OUT why such a delay, but people there even dont know what they are talking about.That is what is huge shame and doesnt make a good reputation for american embassy here.
