What RedFlags a application for Admin Review in Manila?
Hi I am in my 88th day waiting on Nebraska to approve my I129F for a K1. (1st NOA May
2, 2002). My Fiancee is from Manila.
Anyway I read in here several people who go through the Philippines get routed
through the dreaded 'Administrative Review' process.
Does anyone have any ideas what would 'red flag' a package? We have a simple case -
no previous marriages, no children, just us. I more than meet the Support criteria.
Any tips would be appreciated. I dont think this is discussed in the K1 FAQ. And
after having to wait for the dead to awaken in Nebraska, having to go through an
Admin Review would be difficult.
Thanks in advance

Hi Greg!
The Admin Review is usually for women who are 24 and older. They usually do a
Marriage Index Check even if you have given them the Certificate of No Marriage. This
is one possibility.
Others were asked a new NBI Clearance even if they had already given
it. Still no clear idea of what is being reviewed by the Embassy. It varies from one
case to the other.
You can't really tell how long they would review it. Others take only 14 working days
from the time they submit the application from St. Luke's. Others take as long as
several months. This is both for K1 and K3 applicants.
Only God knows the real score Good Luck and God Bless! Hope the info helps
