Default What happens to our petitions???

What happens to our petitions after the service centre receives them? Do they open the envelopes, check to see if the necessary forms and payment are there, then toss the petitions into a container or whatever to be stuffed on a shelf somewhere to collect dust and await adjudication?

Wouldn't it be kinda nice to know??

Hi Alie,

Matt Udall has visited the service centers and has posted many times about what goes on there. He's very knowledgable in this area. Do a search for his posts, you may find the answer to your questions. :-)

Best Wishes,
Rene (day 92 at NVC) <---- hoping for a change today!

Hi Alie,

while browsing the BCIS website I recently came across some interesting work of fiction... guess it is Chapter 10 of "The Little Adjudicator's Handbook"- the document somehow seems to give an impression of what theoretically might happen in an effective attempt of adjudicating a case...

Just in case you are interested- here's the link (hope it works...)

Happy reading!

Rebecca.

yea, I realized before that it did not show up the way it is supposed to on usenet... hope it works this time... if not, a google search on "Overview of the Adjudication Process, Chapter 10" will bring the same result.
