Bit of confusion. Had the Medical Thursday just gone, and online it states I can book my interview for the actual Visa itself after this stage, however I understand it takes around 5 days for my medical results to get to the embassy?

I guess my question is how do I know when they have it, and if it's approved?
Do the medical examiners contact me? Does the embassy contact me? Is there any documentation I should receive to take to the interview from the medical or do they handle that?

You can now book your visa interview. Yes, it takes 4 or 5 days for the results of your medical to get to the embassy, so set an interview date accordingly. The medical examiners won't contact you. You won't receive anything to take to the interview. . it gets sent directly there.

You will know if it was all approved when you go to your visa interview.

Please do. You might not be able to get an appointment in the timeframe that you want so be prepared to book what you can and then continue to look for open slots closed to the time that you wanted to book the appointment.

Thanks. They actually offered me one Wednesday in 2 days time! Though it's actually a little soon due to my medical having only just been done.

I am not in a rush anyway, I have until April, so I'm just going to pick a date in March and work with that.

It's worth noting you could do the one in two days if you wished, assuming everything is in order with your application and your medical results, they will just hang on to your passport and grant your visa once your results have arrived.
