what to do before start working on H1B

What should I expect to do before I start to work? I already have a SS from my J1 visa. Can I use the same card or make another? I already have driving licence. I can't even specify my question cause I don't know what is gonna happen and what will I have to do. If you could share your experiences. Thanks

You can use the same SS card. It's more usual to have them made for
you by the SSA than to make them yourself. (-:

I know it is. I just don't know if I have to change a card! The one I have right now says 'valid only with INS authorization'. But more I need to know is what forms should I filled out and what to do before I can start working!

The H1 is such work authorization. The legend is only removed once you
have unrestricted work authorization, i.e., a Greencard.
The legend essentially alerts any employer that you have to provide
evidence of your work eligibility when you start working.
You will have to fill out the form I-9 for your employer. During that
process, your employer will verify that you have work authorization.
You usually have to present the I-94 showing that you are in valid H1 status.
