Default What could be done to a wife abuser who is in US.

Hi,

I would appreciate if some body could put a light on this issue. One of my friend was married by a H1B guy and was brutally abused physically & mentally and then sent to India.
Now the guy goes to India and his family together abuse and threaten the girl for divorce.
He is working permanent in a company in US who have filed his greencard.
Please, if anyone has some idea about what could be done to let US Govt know what he has been doing and there is a FIR/police complaint about his abuse in India.

Thanks a Lot

Your story doesn't make sense. How could your friend be sent to India
so easily?

If she is a US citizen, contact US embassy for help claiming physical
abuse . Otherwise, contact Indian police.

She is an Indian Citizen, was married by a guy who is in US on H1B Visa. She went back to see her father who was hospitalized.
So, in this regard I wanted some information about the options available to her.

If he was convicted certain crimes, he could become inadmissible or removable from the United States.
