Default What A Cock Up

After waiting over three weeks just to receive the first notice of action from Vermont, concerning our I-129f petition, the whole package was sent back to my fiance. They claimed that the actual 129f form was missing, but it was certainly sent with the package. We were extremely careful to make sure everything was there and was all in order to avoid any delays. It seems that whoever opened it at Vermont put our 129f form aside and somehow it got into someone else's hands and when they looked at our package they found the form missing. Has anyone else ever had this happen?? I guess now we gotta send it all back to Vermont, lucky my fiance happened to have another 129f form at his house or we woulda had to wait even longer for them to send us the form, I guess we gotta start it all from scratch again when we woulda been expecting something this week or next week concerning our application. Man...I thought this was gonna be reasonably quick and yet it took them three weeks or more just to tell us the form wasnt in the package when it certainly was when we sent it. Arrrrghhhhhh!! Suppose this will delay things by another month or two now...dam I was hoping to be there some time in August but at this rate I will be lucky to be there for Christmas since this whole K1 thing seems to be taking forever. Any one else had similar problems with INS? Or K1?

Or your fiance might be able to borrow a printer and print one out from the web site.

If it is forms where you are seeking help, you should be able to find helpful ones
at:

Why point people to a commercial web site to get a form that is available at the INS
site? Take you commercial spam elsewhere.

Mrt,

I would normally agree with you, but in this case Paul merely said that helpful forms were available at a link he provided. He made no mention of the commercial services provided by the site.

The link Paul provided takes one directly to a page listing numerous PDF forms, most of which are fillable, and which can be saved to one's own computer or printed on one's own printer free of charge. There are links to other areas of the site on the forms index page, but nothing trying to keep one on the site or lure one deeper into the site. No annoying pop-ups, for example.

It does seem to be a useful, stress-free source of forms. If you want to consider the post spam, I have to say it's the most low-key, benign spam I've ever seen.

Regards, JEff

no he didn't mention the commercial services, however, he has been posting links to
that same site for several days now.

Considerint the same forms, even fillable forms are available directly from the INS,
on one page, I don't see the need to include a commercial site on the deal. If you
notice, his email address is "US-Immigration-Law" would indicate a possible conflict
of interest.

I thought "cock up" meant someone was excited about getting a green card

I thought he was either bragging so he could meet an American girl or it was an ad
for Viagra

Hmmm...reminds me of a Robert Burns poem that has become a favorite at Burns night
suppers, simply for its name ....'Cock up your beaver'

Very true...but neither of you noticed that Abi said her fiance already HAD the
I-129F. Dave.
