Default Were To File and Plane Tickets Questions Please

Hello All ,

If anyone can Help me with the Following Questions That Would be
Great.

Im Living In Florida With My Wife and We married here and Ive Stayed.
We Are going to Submitt The Paper Work , All Of it At One Time , 1-130
, G-325A X 2 , 1-485 , 1-765 , 1-864 , For Marriage To A US Citzen
where it Occurs inside the USA.

My question is :-

Do I File All The Paperwork To My Local INS Office which Is
JacksonVill or do I send some to Jacksonvill and Some to The National
Service Centre which Is Texas for My Area of Florida Pensacola ?

My Other Question is , My Wife and I wont be Submitting the Paper Work
till the 20th Of December becuase Her Father who is going to be
Co-sponser wont be back In Florida untill that date and we need him to
Sign the Notarised Affidavit Of Support and My return Ticket is for
the 30th Of December Back to Ireland and its the same date Which My WT
Expires , since I wont be Returning on that Ticket , what Happens when
    :-

I dont turn up For the Flight back to Dublin Ireland ? When I dont
use that Flight back can I change it to an open Ticket with the Travel
agent's so It wont go to waste.

Any Help on these Questions will be Greatly Appricated and I wish
everyone on their Visa Quest all The best Of Luck.

You submit everything to the Jacksonville INS office. Don't send anything to the NVC or the TSC. As for the Affidavit why can't he notarize it where he is and mail it to his daughter? Is your wife unable to meet the 125% of the poverty guidelines which would mean you could do without your father-in-law? As for the return ticket, it is not a problem in the eyes of the INS. You are in status until your I-94 expires and asa you and your wife file the papers you are back in status again. As for the ticket itself, check with the airlines on that one.

Mick,
Speaking as a travel agent it depends on what kind of ticket you currently have. Open tickets are usually good for up to 12 months AND are more expensive because of the flexibility. You probably have a nonrefundable ticket good for x amount of time, usually 1 month, 3 months or 6 months. Also any changes to your current ticket most likely have some sort of penalty, often 150 dollars or so (note some US airlines have increased it to 200!!!). THEN there is the difference in fare to be figured as well. So if your ticket was say 500 dollars and it's going to cost you 150 to change plus say an additional 350 dollars for increase in fare because you're going for a higher class of service (which is what open returns are) .......see where I'm going with this??? Call your travel agent OR the airline directly to see what your choices are based on the farebase on your current ticket.

What about I-131 - Application for Re-entry Permit/Advanced Parole?
