We're Approved
Hi all!
I'm in Germany right now spending the Christmas holiday with Jan and
his family (we take turns each year) so I don't know if others have
had happy news to share. I admit that I haven't checked the board
since I left NY on 12/22.
I called my mom today to see how things were and she told me I got a
letter from the INS. Ny heart sank, I figured it was a RFE.
HOWEVER, IT WAS OUR APPROVAL NOTICE!!!!!!!!!!!
We're so thrilled!
Since I have been unable to update my timeline on Dave Hollis' site
due to some bizarre error, here it is:
12/2 package sent
12/3 USPS confirms delivery
12/10 NOA 1
12/23 NOA 2

Indeed, we did use the Vermont Service Center.
I'm hoping that everyone's petitions will come through quickly.
My dad faxed the approval notice to us here in Germany today, it was
comforting to see it in person. Hopefully the consulate will contact
Jan soon with all of the paperwork he needs. I guess this is where all
the fun begins with packet one two three and so on?

Why am I not surprised its Vermont. I wish they would CLONE those people over there who actually KNOW what the hell they are doing. Congrats on the news!!!!
