does anyone know how long they take to process in Kansas City for the I-485? I did ask but they couldnt say.

The processing varies. Your fingerprints have to be processed by both the FBI and the CIA. It can be three days to six or more weeks. Especially now since more INS offices (if it has not already been officially mandated) are not approving AOS cases without results from both agencies, it is hopefully that your prints were take far enough in advance to be processed and returned in time for your interview.
