Default Wedding date required at the consulate???

Hi you all!!!

Here I am again with another question.

Do you have to present the guys on the consulate a defintive wedding date when you appear for the K1-visa interview?

I would appreciate your replys.

Greetings from

TaKa

No. Since you are recommended not to even make travel plans until you receive your
visa, it would hardly make sense for the Consulate to expect you to have a definite
wedding date. Take Care. Shelley

They do ask for an approximate travel and wedding date on the IV-15. You should be as truthful as possible on this, as it appears they work the interviews around these dates. It doesn't mean you have to travel or marry on these days.

Ooops, I thought from another thread that you were in the UK. Now it seems that you are dealing with Frankfurt, so please disregard my last post as I don't know what their procedures are.

Frankfurt does not require a definite wedding date either, but should they ask you
just tell them an approximate time span after entry (i.e. within the first two weeks
or so...).
