Would it help at the consulate interview to bring newspaper engagement announcements
and wedding invitations? Jim

Jim, we are going to do the same thing, we will bring our wedding announcement from
the newspaper and a reciept for the church and a letter from the church saying that
we have reserved the church for some time this August or September. I have also taken
pictures of the church and sent them to my fiancee. Michael "Albino Shaq"

To be honest with you it will not do you any harm, but to be honest I don't think it will matter. When I went for my K1 interview the only thing I had to indicate we were getting married was the letter stating our intent to marry sent with the original petitiion. I did'nt even have an engagement ring recipit as I did'nt get my girlfriend one. Im not cheap, she just said she did'nt need one off me to know we would get married!
SO apart from the letter nothing else and got approved no problem. But the newspaper thing will not do you any harm.
