Default We should all read these!

Here are the rules the consulars at the Embassy's and Consulates are supposed to be following during our K Visa process, I found this with the help of Mark Dayton's Liason. It is in the Foreign Affairs Manual from the Department of State web site:
9 FAM 41.81 ....... outlines the K Visa's and procedures
9 FAM 41.108 ...... outlines the medical requirements for K Visa's
I think the information in these 2 sections are invaluable, READ THEM!

Mason I would not temp fate over the the financial support issue and I would imagine that the possibility of a consular not asking for an I-134 would be slim and none, anyone seen slim lately? lol. And it may just be me trying to be over prepared, but I have both the I-134 and I-864 just in case. Although according to the FAM we can't actually be required to present the I-864. I say "Better safe than sorry" when it comes to getting My Honey home.

Jeff B: You said: "I would imagine that the possibility of a consular not asking for an I-134 would be slim and none"

Waaait...

Is that "NONE", or "N/A"?

I'm requesting further evidence.

Thanks for this info.!

It helps to know that the Consular has 30-60 days to issue the visa upon approval of the petition.

Had my interview last April 11 They told me they have to wait another paper from the civil registry.
