Default waiting the letter from Nebraska

Hi!
We are going through Nebraska with 1-129F petition. We received our 1st NOA on the 19th of August.
Recently, the 22nd of January we saw on-line: they need more evidence. They said they sent to us a letter, from which we would know exactly what information they need.
Today is the 31 st of January, and we are still waiting for the letter. Does it take so long for post from Nebraska to Washington(Seattle)?
But some days ago we sent to them what they might need: a photo of us both and some e-mail letters. Hopefully, it will be enough for them.
Have we done it right or we should wait for their letter?
I would appreciate any information about that stuff.

Default INS Nebraska

I wrote you an email about someone right here in Seattle who prepares fiancee visas....I will give you his name and phone and email if you email me back....

I am wondering, since I have a fiancee visa they received on Sept.25, how you found out on line you needed more stuff...did they email your personally...or is there a web site that has everyone on it?

Anyway, maybe the guy who did my fiancee visa can find out what INS Nebraska needs exactly.

Hi, Don!
I know that my fiance check the status of our case somehow on-line. And if they sent something to us they will write it on-line either. As I am not very comprehensive on this stuff, I can not give to you more information. But you can find it on the official web-site of INS

Hi Natalija

It took 10 days for our RFE letter to get to us and that was from Vermont to MD.
We waited for the letter to get to us,I do believe there are other post's on this subject and it is recomended that you wait.
The only thing I can suggest is give them a call and let them know you haven't got it yet!!!!

Hi,Sal!
thank you for your reply!
Finally we received the letter RFE. They are asking if we had been married before. We had not, so now we wonder should we send simple letter, explaining that or we should get some official documentation. May be you know?
Good luck!

Hi Natalija

Mine was for Divorce papers!!!!!!!
I'm sorry I don't know why they would ask for that, unless you didn't put it down as none or N/A in the question box!!!!
Maybe Matthew Udall who is a lawyer may be able to answer your question.
I'm sorry I could not help you on this one.

Hi Natalija,

Seems like an unusual request if your I-129F and G-325A were
straightforward. Call them and ask why. Most of the time the will
want some sort of signed letter from each of you stating that you are
free and able to marry.

As well, I do not know of a documents that proves that you are NOT
married. I only know of documents that prove you are legally
divorced.

If you need anything else, let me know.
