waiting AOS and contract job in another state

My company closed down.
I have EAD and waiting for AOS (sponsored by parent)
Is applying for Unemployment insurance bad for AOS (like public
charge)?
If I move to different state for few months for contract job do I have
to transfer my AOS case there?

Unemployment insurance is not a means tested benefit... this will have no effect on your AOS.
