Hi, Everyone! I'm so excited, because my petition was finally approved via the
automated phone machine at VSC. Timeline is submitted Sept 6 and just received
the voice message on Nov 13. My fiance is in Lima Peru. Thank you for all of
your help thusfar!
My new questions are these:
1. Anyone out there have experience with the embassy in Lima?
2. For Lima, original or copies of tax returns needed? and one year or three
years?
3. If we simply wait for the embassy to contact my fiance, does anyone know
how long that is? Should we be doing anything in the meantime? The telephone
machine says the appropriate consulate has been notified.
4. Do we send in the checklist even if we don't have all of the info ready to
zoom in at that moment?
5. Do I need to wait for the exact forms from Lima or can I begin to fill out
forms that are generic from INS?
Any info is most appreciated!
Thanks very much, and good luck to everyone!
