Visa for accompanying girlfriend ????

Hallo,
I need some help/advice on the following:
My case: I am going to work for my company in California. My employer applied for L1
visa. Plan is to stay for 1,5 - 2 Years.
Problem: I would like my girlfriend to accompany me. We are not married. She will not
work in the USA. She is financially independent. All costs/expenses are covered.
What kind of visa might be applicable for this case ?
Is there any Tourist visa valid over 90 days (for 1 year) ?
