The deadline to enact your familial status is April 30,2003. The
previous extensions have successfully passed and this one is expected
to pass also. If you entered illegally , without inspection, and you
plan to marry...the marriage should take place before this deadline
and you have to be able to prove that you were in the US at the time
the proposal was signed on December 21, 2000. You may view this
