Default A VERY SPECIAL THANKS !

I would like to give a very special word of thanks this group and
especially to two people on this board.

Folinskyinla & Rete.

You too guys have been an angel on my shoulder one might put it. You
both gave me information which was invaluable to my success on gaining
a Green Card. You both guided me through the process and without your
help I can honestly say that I would of failed at the first hurdle.

Thank you so much , you don't know how much in-debited myself and my
wife are to you too and if you were ever to visit Pensacola FL, If
given the chance I would like to repay you both some how but for now
all's I can say is thanks and that I want you to know that you helped
keep a family together in the most testing times off our lives.

Thank you to everyone for putting up with all my questions and the
input which you gave which helped to achieved what we did.

As fantastic as this group is and that it is , there were a couple of
people on this group who never gave me a chance of succeeding. (You
guys know who you are) There were times were I was subject to crap
from a couple of people which was not at all needed and instead of
putting energy into helping people the continued to put people down
(not only me but some others on the group) and mock either questions
asked or ideas put forward which was a complete waste of time. To
these people I would like to say I proved you wrong and today is my
day.

Thank you again everyone especially Folinskyinla & Rete.

I will be still be a regular to this board and If I feel I can help
anyone from my experience I will pass my information on straight away.

Mick & Samantha.

P.S Rete I'm no longer driven insane by the INS. I might change my
name/handle !!!! Ha Ha.

Thats the idea mate. If you make it through the process and have used this board you become one of the elders. Just like Yoda in Star wars. You must now pass down your knowledge and wisdom

Congrats!

I did not get asked one question about coming over on the visa waiver.
When I think back it was almost like I was approved before I got there
and all's they needed was a couple of documents to confirm it.

Before hand I was physically ill because all along I had thought that
I would be denied. The process took less than 15 mins.

One strange this was that when we got brought into the interview room
by the guy who was interviewing us, there was a woman sat in the
corner and she did not say a word through the whole process what so
ever and my immediate thought was that can't be good.

Myself and my wife could not believe how smoothly the interview went.

What happened was follows :-

Brought into the room.

He took both my index finger prints and got me to sign two cards.

He swore us in ..

He looked at our son Liam sleeping in his stroller and asked was he
ours. Off course we said yes. He did not ask to see the birth
certificate.

He asked Samantha my wife was that her Signature on the I-130 and then
approved it by stamping it.

He then asked for tax documents pertaining to Samantha as sponsor and
her father as cosponsor. I told him I would like to put forward an
Affidavit of Support on behalf of my self and he said okay. He then
asked me had I got a letter from my employers. I gave him the letter
as well as the pay stubs. He declined the pay stubs and said the
letter was fine.

He asked us for a document in which both our names are on and I gave
him a copy of our lease, I offered more to which he declined.

He asked me whether I was part of any terrorist org. or had broken any
laws. I can't remember the rest but there was only a few.

He then asked for a recent bank statement which showed that myself and
my wife had a joint account.

He asked me whether this was my signature on the I-145 I think and I
said yes.

He then told me that he went ahead and approved my I-145 and stamped
my passport & told me that my 2 year conditional green card will be
mailed to me within 3 months and gave me the dates I need to file the
form to remove the conditions and then I will get a 10 year Green
Card.

Myself and and my wife were amazed at how quickly it went. We both had
prepared ourselves to be bombarded with all sorts of questions.

The only conclusion I came to for the lady sitting in the corner of
the room watching everything was that she was overlooking the guy who
was dealing with us. He seamed so nervous so much more than me and my
wife.

As you can imagine myself and my wife are so so so happy now and have
been through a lot over the last 18 months and its a fantastic outcome
to which we are both extremely grateful.

Take Care

Mick & Sam.

Congrats!

I also adjusted from the VWT and was not asked any questions with respect to that fact. We also thought it seemed as if they had decided we were ok already.

Sorry some saw fit to give you a hard time. I've been AWOL for a while and must have missed those goings on
