Default VERY FAST I-751 APPROVAL & QUESTIONS

My husband recieved his second I-797C NOA yesterday stating that his
I-751 petiton to removal conditional residency had been approved. Here
is the timeline:

April 28, 2005 - I-751 sent to the Texas Service Center.
April 29, 2005 - I-751 confirmed recieved by TSC through UPS.
May 09, 2005 - First I-797C NOA arrives stating the I-751 has been
recieved and is being processed, alien card extended 12 months. *note*
The date at the top of the first NOA says 04/29/05, so they must have
sent out the letter the same day they recieved the petition.
June 06, 2005 - Second I-797C NOA arrives stating that the I-751
petiton to removal conditional residency has been approved. It states
to make an appointment via Infopass and bring passport and three
photos.

Now, some questions:

1. It says on the approval letter to bring three photos of the same
type that is on the current alien card. Now, there is an additional
letter that says there are new photo standards specified in the Border
Security Act of 2003. These are full-frontal face position passport
style photos. Now, I am assuming this is what they want, not the old
three-quarter style that is on his current alien card that they said to
bring on the approval letter, is this correct? It's really silly to me
that they even try to to confuse people that way by including old
information in the letter. They could simply say to follow the
instructions on the attached paper.
2. Is getting approved this fast out of the oridinary? It says that it
will take a minimum of 120 days to process on the first NOA. I'm scared
that they may have made a mistake, but the his alien number and
admission date are correct at the top of the approval letter. It simply
seems too good to be true.
3. When will he be able to obtain citizenship? I've heard three years,
and I've heard five years. What's the real story with that?

I would recommend anyone who has the option of doing DCF to do it. I
have had nothing but positive experiences with the DCF process (and the
Ankara embassy in Turkey where we did our DCF). His visa was issued in
just a little over two months.

I also want to thank everyone who has helped answer my questions over
the years. I don't know where I would have went with all my inquiries
and claifications without having this newsgroup. Thank you all
sincerely.
