Vaccinations for AOS
I need to have a MMR x 2 and the flu vaccine to complete my requirements. Do I have to go to a certified USCIS Doctor or I can I go to the local county health department?
Getting the flu vaccine at this time of year may be a little difficult..

The vaccinations can be done by any doctor. The USCIS doctor only needs to do the verification.

So how does that work. I get the jab and send off somewhere?

You get the jabs, get written period from the doc. Take that, plus proof of the ones you had done already, and go see the USCIS civil surgeon in person. He will verify everything and complete the I-693. You include that sealed envelope with your AOS submittal.
Assuming this is AOS from K-1.

10 years ago, but I got an MMR booster on NHS before I left UK. This was because the postcard I have that my Mum kept to document the jabs when I was a baby, did not indicate the booster.
I can't remember what I got from the Doc that did the booster, but that, and the postcard my Mum wrote out, was all I had for the Civil Surgeon, and it was no problem for my AOS. (ie no "official record", just "evidence").

I got my medical done at Knightsbridge Doctors but did not fancy getting the MMR jab at the time. The problem is I can't remember having it done. I have not been able to find any records of it. I was born in 71, so I am not sure if I would have had this at school but I think the Jab came out in the late 80s.
Would it harm me if I get this done again or would I need to have a blood test to confirm?

Or you can get titres drawn for immunity. Easier to just repeat it.

I got my required shots from the local Walgreens. Cost a couple of hundred dollars. Take both your receipt(s) and certificate of the vaccine to hand to your USCIS approved physician. They can then complete the required form for you.
You can also submit your receipts to your insurer for them to reimburse you as they are 'preventative care.'
