US Embassy and marital status

I am inviting my parents to my renewal of vows of my 1-st wedding anniversary.
However, I was wondering when she goes to the US Embassy with the certificate (in my
country there is such a document) showing my parents names and my brother and me as
their children; it also has a line that says marital status of your daughter -
single. Does this mean that my mom needs to change my status from single to married
to the registration office of my country?? If not possible (for many reasons, may
burocratic too), is the US Embassy going to question the fact that I am married in
the US, but I show as single in my country and in my parents' document of family
composition? What should I do?
Thanks in advance.
Lidy.

If I get it correctly, your parents need a tourist visa to get to the USA ?
Just out of curiosity, where are your parents living. Because a lot of countries have
a visa waiver.
Though I am pretty sure that the US Embassy issues a tourist visa to your parents if
they have a daughter living in the USA. I don't think it really matters to them if
you are married or not.
I am from The netherlands and we don't have a document that says if your son/daughter
is married or not. Of course, different country, different laws
Happy 1st anniversary
Daniel
ps. I'm not a lawyer. So don't shoot me when I'm wrong
