Hi all,

Urgent help needed! We have our DCF CR1 Visa interview on Friday 25 January. My wife is now panicking about the Proof of Domicile in the US. She is uk/usc, lives and works in London. We don't have work lined up in the US. Can she just provide US bank account details, resignation letter from her current job, and proof she has been looking for work in LA?

That would be perfectly acceptable as proof.

For interviews in London you don't have to prove domicile in the US, only the intent to do so.

Yeah, they didn't even really look at it. Would be nice to have a bit more consistency.

Good news! I think they are consistent on this. That was certainly my experience and that of several here on BE.

Yep, we provided resignation latters, job applications for the us, plus a storage unit we pay for over there. They didn't seem very interested.
