Default URGENT-HELP!! Can spouse cancel my visa prior to my entering the country?

Good evening, everyone,

Please could anyone shed any light on this for me - it is urgent, and
I feel like my whole life is broken.

I would be MOST grateful for any help - if you are knowledgeable about
this kind of situation.

I have a dependent's visa, my spouse is in the US.
Lately he's been very weird, and makes hints he does not see any
future., etc. I want to least to meet to clear it all out, one way or
the other.

QUESTION: Can he do anything that would cancel out my visa?

I have a ticket for next week, and I am petrified they will turn me around at
the point of entry -

Can he inform the INS, or State Dept that he, let's say, filed for
divorce, and this will cancel my current visa?

PLEASE POST HERE - if anyone at all knows the answer, you will save my
life. I have a one-way ticket, so I might be in a real mess if I get
there and face something like this.

THANK YOU wholeheartedly in advance.

I do not believe it can be cancelled by your spouse at such a late date,..
so what if he files for divorce now,..?
it is common for spouses to argue,..filing for divorce is not actually being
divorced,.. american courts move almost as slow as the immigration people,..
sounds like your biggest problem is not being turned away from entering,..
but what happens after you arrive with a 1-way ticket ?

Dependent's visa? Not sure that exists. Exactly what type of visa do you have.

You may be let in the country but if you do not Adjust Status there could be problems. Good luck!

Possibly a H-4?

If things go pear shaped with the spouse they could convert to an F-1 (subject to a minimum of twelve (12) credits per semester in an educational institution recognized by the USCIS) or if they meet the requirements an H1-B if they wished to remain in the US.

Which state is he residing in and I'll do my best to figure out what his position re: a petition for divorce.

Also, how long has he been a resident of that state?
