Default Updating information during K1 visa process

Hello everyone,

My Fiancé and I have submitted our form I-129F and have received a receipt number acknowledging that USCIS will be processing our application.

Unfortunately, I have since lost my passport and therefore would need to apply for a new one here in the UK. Given that I would also receive a new passport number, would I need to contact the administration team in the US and inform them of this? If not, at what stage would I be challenged or questioned regarding this new passport? Will our application be thrown out with this change?

If anyone here has had a similar experience, or if anyone could point me in the right direction of where to go regarding an official contact for me to be able to ask this question, I would be eternally grateful.

Thanks Sincerely,

Dan

You don't need to notify anyone at any time. When you go to the in person interview, you can just tell/ show them there.

I agree. Not a problem, but obviously make sure you do get a new passport in time for the interview.

Agree with the others, not necessary at this time, just need to have the passport at interview.
