UPDATE on Jeromes situation!!
Well, our lawyer did something right for a change (just a joke). He submitted Jeromes whole I-485 package to our Syracuse Ny. INS office, and it was accepted!!! He will be getting a reciept number on Tuesday!
SO HAPPY!! Now at least we know that the app. is being PROCESSED! Whew...bout time!

Your attorney has now achieve in his third attempt what a large number
of people in this newsgroup could have done without a lawyer on their
first attempt. I would be concerned about how is going to handle the
rest of the paperwork. After he failed the second time, I would not have
given him a third chance.
