Update
I have written here twice before,and just wanted to give an update.
I married an Egyptian in April in Egypt. I am an American. They finally
sent me the support papers which I mailed last week. On the advice of the
Egyptian embassy the said it wouldn't hurt to file ($170) the fiance/spouse
petiton as this is faster, but the I-30 is the one that is going faster
hmmm.I pray this is almost over, it has taken so long.

I remember your posts. Glad things are progressing for you. The embassy is referring to the I-129F petition for a K-3 spouse visa. Perhaps they think that might be processed faster than the I-130. At least it's a backup plan just in case...doesn't hurt anything.
