Please becareful as to what you are taking. 18mths ago my neice's doctor told her to take Ibuprofen...after hurting her shoulder playing hockey. She collapsed ...was taken into hospital and had to have immediate surgery on a perforated stomach.
Spoke to GP assistant and got a same day appointment, just learning to work the system i guess. Anyhow, got painkillers (can make you sick) and muscle relaxants (can make you dizzy/headachy etc). Only taking one of each in the AM so I can get the day started. Hey ho, here's to getting better soon. Might just try acupuncture, some people swear by it!

I have asthma and I'd always been fine with ibuprofen, then last month I took a couple for a cold and ended up in the doctors office that afternoon. I hadn't had an asthma flare in more than a year, so my inhaler had actually expired! So no more ibuprofens for me...

Glad you were ok - you're lucky you weren't in the ER.

btw... you probably can't take any NSAID now (including naproxin/Aleve).

If you're ever in the ER, it's important to tell them no NSAIDS, as they often will be inclined to give some (such as Toradol) for lots of illnesses/injuries.
