First NOA 18th Sep, still waiting............Waaaahhhh!!!!!!!
We contacted Corey's congressman, and a lady there said our petition's pending with an officer, they're aware it's taking a long time, but if we fax a request to her so she can call them and get more info, she'll let us know the score. Corey did that on Friday, so fingers crossed we'll have an idea sometime this week.
I swear they're all sleeping at TSC. No-one here apart from anggraeni has heard anything for ages.

use help from congressperson, she called up telling us we are approved... november 12, 2002
aprroved on INS online status... november 19, 2002
got the mail in hand.... november 23, 2002

now waiting to hear something from embassy so i can get BUSY!

Thanks, anggraeni!! I'm still praying too. I don't really know what to make of the info we've gotten so far. It's pending with an officer, but that could still mean they're gonna spring a nasty RFE on us. I hope not, coz I'll be mighty cheesed off if they've waited over two months to do that. I think we're fairly un-complicated though, so I'm still jolly hopeful. Good luck going head-to-head with the Embassy!!!
By the way, does anyone know what days off these people take for Thanksgiving, just so I know not to hold my breath til my face turns blue during this time? Thanx.

What are they doing with these petitions? And is there any clue as to
why there are so few officers processing so much paperwork? Didn't
some post that there are only 3 or 4 officers per SC for the 129?
