Hey guys,
FWIW, it looks like the case number for my OH starts with SSC. I have a digital copy only, and the image isn't very good so I can't make out the rest of it. Does anyone else' case number start with SSC? Everything else sent to TSC has always started with 'TSC'.

Received my I-797C today with interview date within the next 365 days. If it is going to be Charleston then every chance it will be just that but if it is Greer then much shorter, but who knows. Patience is a virtue. ????

My husband just received the I-797 - it says he should be interviewed in the next 180 days. This is for the Louisville, KY office.

I think the "Interview within" date on the 797C is a complete crock - searching back on this forum, these dates have always been the same.

SSC = Southern Service Center, the old-timey name for the Texas Service Center.

I had fingerprints done on 17 Dec 07 - got a letter today calling me back on 22 January because "FBI cannot read you fingerprint card". 
Shucks. More delay, just when I thought I was doing fine-ish.

Kudos to Meauxna in posting the old BCIS link explaining the SSC handle.
Who here has been able to using the SSC handle:
1. Check case status.
