Default TSC......I-130,,,when will it progress?

It seems that TSC has been working on the same date for the spouse visa
for the last 4-5 months. 6-8-2001. My wife came here on a k3 visa
and I am glad she did. How long is TSC going to be working on this
same date?

What happens if they havent processed our spouse visa by the time my
wifes k3 visa is expired? We still have 1 1/2 years before that time
but I dont want to lay down just because of the time you know?

Good point and one that has been overlooked, sigh.....500-600 days is the timeframe they gave me on my 130 NOA in September. I believe the K3 is good for 2 years?

Hi, I'm also currently in the US on a K3. My I-130 has been pending at the TSC since May 6 2002. I was under the impression that we're all supposed to file for AOS now, and pretty much forget that we filed the 'formality' of the I-130.

The AOS can be sent but they wont do anything with it until the spouse
visa is processed. I am wondering what happens when the k3 expires
and our spouse visa hasnt been processed. It would be an awful feeling
to have her deported because the INS is slower then a turtle.

Hi:

Praytell, why are you waiting for approval of the first I-130? File a SECOND I-130 concurrent with the I-485 packet with your local "field office" [aka "District Office" until last week].

Yes, I know its another $130 -- but is the wait at TSC worth saving that money???

Arent you supposed to file to one of the 4 national centers for visas?
If I could file the spouse visa again with the AOS locally I would do
it so I could get it done quickly. What info do you have to confirm
this?
