I am planning to travel back to the u.k to visit at the end of june I have my advance parole docs but still waiting on my AOS do I need anything else or to bring any additional docs
has anyone else done this ? had any issues etc?

Apart from the AP paperwork, you don't need anything else except for your passport.

The AP is sufficient to get you back into the country.

You have got the actual AP card? usually doubled up with the EAD if you applied for it. If so then that is all you need plus passport, no problems, it may just take a little longer to get through immigration on arrival back in USA. That was my experience anyway.

Yes came back via DFW - got pulled into secondary where I had to hand over my papers, sit in a room for about 3 hours, then get my papers back and sent on my way after missing my connecting flight.
