Travel for Foreign wife
I want to double check before I order the tickets. My wife came back
with me from Peru about 17 months ago. She has already obtained her
temporary permanent residence card. I wanted to know if I'm making the
correct assumptions and if we need anything else. First the assumption
is that I will need to buy the tickets in her non married name given
the following is what we have:
Peru passport - Non expired - Maiden name
US Temporary permanent residence card - Non expired - Maiden name
Visa stamp in the passport is expired.
US Texas identification - Married name
US Social Security - Married name
Is the Passport and US permanent residence card enough to get her back
when its time to return? Thats pretty much why I assume I need to use
her maiden name for the ticket. There is not enough time to go through
changing the permanent residence card and passport. We were going to
wait until we return under the assumption it would be easier.

Entry to US? Passport + Green Card.

You don't mention what country your wife is traveling to, so I just wanted to let you know, she will still need a visa for any country someone with Peruvian citizenship would need. If she's going back to Peru, no problem.
Best Wishes,

So I guess he means "back to Peru". Sorry, I got confused.

FWIW. My wife's passport name did not match her ticket name or PR card
name. The ticket and PR card were in the same name. It was no problem at
the airport when we checked in to leave or when we returned. The only
problem we had was leaving France.
None of this should be a problem for the OP. I would think he can forget
about what is on the Texas ID or SS card for travel.
