Traceym and Chrissie
Promise I will be in touch ladies. Had a bad car accident. I'm ok, mega aches and pains but all in one piece. Little car wasn't so lucky - it's completely totalled and a write off. Give me a few days. xoxox

Thanks everyone - I was involved in a multiple car jobby. Basically on the motorway/freeway on the way home, noticed the car in front starting to slow down, then realised the traffic ahead was at a standstill and he was going to stop completely. I breaked hard and managed to stop in time, as did the car behind me, the next one following I don't think breaked at all. He swearved to avoid hitting us but smashed into the car behind me and shunted her in to me (I was pushed into and along the central concrete reservation) and beyond me in to the centre lane.
Anway the car is a write off, back axle broke in two, wheel and shock absorbers off, I think there was only two of the body panels that weren't crumpled. I have whiplash injuries all down left side and I'm off work. Now have the hassle of trying to get myself a car for just the few short weeks I have left before I leave which is a complete pain in the bum.
BUT, thank god, we all walked away without having spilled a drop of blood.

jeez Mandy, it sounds worse than ever.. it's taken me a good year to get back from that little crash I had! Take it slowly.
Can you rent a car for a couple of weeks?

Well I have a hot stone massage booked for Friday so hoping that will ease the muscles and the tension too, as the heat from the stones is supposed to penetrate deeply - we'll see!
The insurance company did give me a hire car but it will go as soon as they settle the claim. I've looked in to private rental here but it would cost around $2000 so much cheaper to look for a jallopy (a safe one mind you lol) to buy.

And lots of acupuncture. (my LAc needles that pesky crease between my brows.. natural botox!)
