Hi,
Does anyone have any idea or experience of how long it is currently taking
the US London Embassy from receipt of documentation (police certificates
etc) to consular interview date? We are trying to sort out church and
minister availability and its imposible without some idea of timeframe -
confusion reigns <lol>
regards,
Andrew

You don't send your documents to the London Embassy, just a check list to
confirm that you have them all available. You take the documents to the
interview.
We sent our check list back on 23rd September and I anticipate, all things
being equal an interview between 6th and 20th November. However someone who
sent their check list back ten days before we did got an interview date of
16th October. It is all a bit of a lottery, and there is no scientific way of
predicating the outcome.

Thanks for the information. Yes you are right - I was referring to receipt
of police cert by me and then notifying the Embassy - my fault for no being
clear enough. Anyway, sounds like its about a month to get the interview
after telling them that all required documents have been procured. Hope
yours come through soon too!
Cheers,
Andrew

If you filed in London, your case is different than this Original Poster.
